Some noticeable trends are the large exodus from New York (200,000+/Year from 2000-2004) but there was a population gain due to the increase in immigration [WCBS/AP].

That's 47% more million dollar homes sold in 2005 than in 2004, according to the Los Angeles Times. A multitude of million dollar home sales is an amazing thing. The only thing more amazing than the number of million dollar homes in California is what you get for that kind of money.
